This page is the contract behind every badge, date and character voice on KOREA ON CUE.
Verification badges
- FIELD_CHECKED — verified by a real visit. Earned only with field data
- DESK_VERIFIED — verified against public references (official sites, map data, government sources) with source and date
- EDITORIAL_ROUTE — a route designed and desk-checked, before the field visit
- CREATOR_TEST — an editorial simulation. Not a wear test, and labeled as such
- UPDATE_NEEDED — flagged for recheck; excluded from home and recommendation modules until resolved
Source tiers
Information carries its certainty level in the sentence itself. Three tiers:
- OFFICIAL — confirmed by the business, a public institution or an official site
- DESK CHECK — synthesised from map data, multiple public reviews and public photos, with the check date. Written as guidance (“map routes put this at about 18 minutes”), never as first-hand experience
- FIELD NOTE — confirmed by our own visit. Desk-checked sentences get promoted to FIELD NOTE after the visit, replacing estimates with measured numbers
Review-based details — crowding, photo spots, outlets, seating, felt travel time — change constantly and are never stated as fact. We name the source type (official notice, map data, recent reviews, public photos) instead of writing “we heard”.
Facts and voices
Character sentences are opinions and are always marked POV. They never state facts. Factual claims appear in VERIFIED NOTE blocks with a source class, a source, a check date and — when time-sensitive — a recheck date. Every piece shows when it was last checked.
Characters and images
Our cast are original AI-made editorial characters (all adults, 20+), rendered from an approved internal production pack. Hard rules: no imitation of real people, actors or drama stills; no school uniforms or minor-coded styling; no claims of real visits, purchases or conversations; no medical or financial advice. Diagnostic sheets used in production QA are never published. Public images contain no readable brands or invented text.
Independence and corrections
No advertising, no paid placement, no affiliate links in content today — any future change will be disclosed on the affected page. Business information (hours, prices, closures) changes fast; when we learn a fact on a live page is wrong or stale, we correct the page and update its check date rather than leaving it silently.
