KOREA ON CUE uses generative AI to make some editorial images of travel scenes and its original fictional cast. An image that looks like a photograph may not record a real visit or current conditions. We check factual information separately from the images.
1. How we make articles
- AI tools help with research organisation, drafts and language editions. An editor reviews sources, check dates, factual claims, wording and structure before publication.
- A character’s voice or a staged scene expresses an editorial point of view. It is not evidence of a visit, purchase, outfit test or conversation.
- Our editorial policy explains the publication method and verification levels.
2. How we use AI in images
- Some cast portraits and travel scenes are staged images made with AI and informed by public sources. They help explain a place or route; they do not document its current appearance or prove a visit on a particular date.
- The notice below an article’s closing image links here. Captions and alternative text retain details relevant to each image.
- Official photographs, maps and explanatory diagrams have different origins. We identify their source and purpose separately. An article may contain more than one kind of visual.
3. What an image cannot verify
- Signs, facility conditions, access routes, crowd levels and seasonal details shown in an editorial image are not field observations.
- For hours, prices and access information, use the cited official sources, map data and check dates in the article. Check the operator’s latest guidance before visiting.
4. Corrections and contact
If an image or article is misleading or differs from the facts, please contact us. We will check it and make any needed correction. Read the full editorial policy for our publication standards.
